Modern is the default for a reason: it reads fast. The name sits top left in bold, the job title right under it in the accent color, and contact details on one line separated by bars. A single 2-point rule closes the header.
Each job is two lines before the achievements: title on the left with dates aligned right, then company and city in grey. Recruiters scanning a stack look for exactly those three things, in that order.
Color appears only in the title, the rule and the section headings. Printed in black and white the page loses nothing, because no information depends on color.
